Reflecting on this past year, I am filled with gratitude. From leading workshops and connecting with fellow photographers to speaking at photo clubs and joining exhibitions, it has been a truly remarkable journey. Teaching others has not only been rewarding but has also deeply enriched my own creative process.
My travels this year—to Morocco in the spring and the Faroe Islands this summer—offered fresh perspectives and endless inspiration. Attending the Paris Photo Festival in November for the first time was another major highlight that pushed my creative boundaries.
Now it’s time for a short break to celebrate with my family. Then I am ready for starting the new year in the far away Ethiopia. It will be an real exciting journey and I look forward to sharing some pictures and stories with you upon my return.
